Currently living in the U.S. I got into shooting sport/hobby about 6 years ago. Always interested in firearms relating to the HKPF (RHKP) and wish to make friends or get connected with fellow HKer/collectors who share this same passion. Enjoy

Yup the S&W model 10-7 was manufactured in 1977. Probably part of shipment returned to the US market when the RHKP replaced their 10-7 and 10-9 to 10-10 heavy barrel in the early 90s. When it first released to the public in the US back in the late 90s, most are only sold for $250USD a piece. Now these days as it became somewhat a hard to find collectable item (I only saw about 10 pieces being circulated around the nationwide 2nd hand market in the past 2 years), the price tag ranged between $600 to $800 USD depends on the condition. The Colt Police Positive I have was made in 1970, it's priced at $450 and actually cost me nothing (thanks Trump for the covid stimulus check

). But I've seen one sold for close to a $1000USD in prestige condition.

而Webley下面果把5" barrel S&W Victory先奇! 警隊80年代初先由Colt Police Positive轉S&W model 10, 但哩把S&W Victory 係為紀念二戰盟軍勝利而出

WHATTT? So you're W***5 who won that bid!!!!! Hahaha. Two things about the S&W Victory, you DID changed the grip to the original version? Also the original S&W Victory should be parkereized finish and this piece appeared to have been blued. Probably by the agency when the HKP owns it. I actually did quite some research on it and even got in touch with "Watershed Hong Kong" team of historical experts. They couldn't even find any solid reference on the history of this particular model ever served in the HK police force! LUCKY YOU, you now owned a piece of history that might have been a lost piece during the 香港重光! You're probably in the States also, we've got to hook up and I'd love to get a chance to see this piece with my own eyes!!!!

I did change the grip. I bought that grip on ebay for US$38. It is genuine. The original grip has serial number inside. It won't match my revolver number anyway.

Here is another pistol I can share, the Sig p250c. The HKPF acquired about 4000 Sig p250DCc back in 2007. In my understanding, the Gen 1 DCc were made in Nurnberg, Germany under the SIG Sauer GmbH wing of the company. However the Germany production line is permanently closed in 2020 so anything circulating in the US market are actually the same design but made in New Hampshire. USA under the SIGARMS wing of the company. It's named under p250c (c for compact, f for Full side, and sc for subcompact) without the "DC" of their Germany counterpart. Gen 1 was the original design in 2007 and Gen 2 was introduced to the US market in late 2009. The mag well and the accessory rail is different between the generations so the mag are NOT interchangeable. The p250 is actually discontinued in 2017 so the only place you can find a P250 DCc (not the US made p250) would really be in the 2nd hand market in Europe.
