I'm don't have the p226 yet. I just planning to buy one.
But I found these two link on the internet.

Please look at the product information. The"1st generation' kit doesn't say that it can install the real hand gun grip.

After compared with the two links, yes, you should buy the 2 gen for install the real grip.

I think you still can find it at gun street, please try.
